THE EVENT

GARDA LIFT ON FIRE is a unique firefighting competition. Pointed towards all Firefighters, the race will take place for the first time on 1 October 2023 in Riva del Garda, on the shores of the lake. Starting from the main III November Square, the course will pass through the streets of the inner city and then climb up the staircase neighboring the panoramic lift that leads to the ancient Torrione del Bastione, where the run will end. Overall the route will develop over 500 linear meters and an average gradient of 28%, touching a total height difference of 150 meters, with peaks of 91%. The target of the competition is to reach the top in the shortest possible time, without running out of air in the tank.

THE EVENT

After the great success of 2023 and 2024, both of which sold out with participants, we are excited to announce the third edition of the much-awaited Garda Lift On Fire! The event will see competitors from all over Europe and beyond face off along a unique course: starting from the central Piazza III Novembre in Riva del Garda, it will wind through the historic center before climbing along the panoramic lift track leading to the ancient Torrione del Bastione. The course spans 500 meters, with an elevation gain of 150 meters, an average incline of 28%, and peaks of 91%. The goal is for competitors to reach the top in the shortest time possible without running out of air in their tank.

FIRE VILLAGE

The entire event will be energized by the Fire Village, the beating heart of the event, an exhibition area dedicated to our sponsors, offering them the chance to showcase their products and gain exposure. For participants, their companions, tourists, and curious onlookers, there will be the opportunity to follow the race live on the big screen, experiencing every moment of the competition. All of this will be accompanied by music, food, and a festive atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for socializing and having fun until late in the evening. Garda Lift On Fire will be the perfect blend of sport, entertainment, and pure fun for everyone!

FIRE VILLAGE

The whole event will be surrounded by the Fire Village, which will include and exhibition area dedicated to the sponsor in the field and to their products. There will also be a party area, where competitors, tourists and curious can meet each other, exchanging ideas and making friends. All that will be possible by staying connected to the develop of the competition, broadcast on the large-screen television. Taking part in Garda Lift on Fire doesn’t just means experiencing a competition, but contributing to set off and valorize the passion of the Firefighter.
